If you’re an art lover, get to Denver before June 29 to check out “Soft Something,” an immersive installation by Matt Barton, co-director of visual art at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. The installation is “a symbiotic piece, a mutually beneficial system that is intended to allude to a greater interconnectedness,” Barton says. It features vibrating beds, aquaponics systems and materials that “blur the boundaries between gallery, greenhouse and sanctuary.” The exhibition is hosted by Happy City: Art for the People (happycitydenver.com), a six-week, citywide art intervention produced by The Denver Theatre District with the nonprofit Black Cube. Info: goo.gl/VqsvjW. Open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays at Understudy, 890-C 14th St.
