Transcript: 12/14/2017: KOAA (NBC) … live on campus … where the test question has sparked a lot of debate and conversation among students… the multiple choice question states: all of the following are rape myths …except. then it lists four answers. one student tells us he was forced to choose between his need to get a good grade … and personal beliefs. now the university is looking into it… here is a copy we’re told of the test question that is circulating around social media. while students admit a gender communications class will tackle some tough and at times controversial topics … most seem to agree… this question crosses the line. austin lacost- uccs student 07:59- all of them seem to be myths, none of them seem to be factual or anything that the book said was even a generalization because a lot of times when you talk about gender and communication there are generalizations that you have to make, but none of these seem to be valid ones.” 08:11 lacost says the professor also showed two pictures of a woman, one dressed a little provocatively as –he says– the teacher put it… and one in business dress. lacost says the teacher explained how women should not be judged for how they dress and feels the teacher stood up for women’s rights in that same class. the university says it’s too early to know if any action will be taken as a result of the test question. live on campus at u-c-c-s … mark boyle …. news five. …
