Two finalists are in the running for vice chancellor for administration and finance at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. They will visit the campus next week.
  • Joseph “Joe” Grasso is associate dean for finance, administration and corporate relations, in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
  • Charles “Chuck” Litchfield is associate vice provost for finance and administration of undergraduate education at Stanford University.

“The search committee, chaired by Provost Tom Christiansen, has done an excellent job bringing forward two strong candidates for this critical position in an accelerated timeline,” Chancellor Venkat Reddy said in a news release.”

The vice chancellor for administration and finance serves as the institution’s chief financial officer. The person will replace Susan Szpyrka, who will retire effective Dec. 31 after almost 34 years of working at the university.

The university community will have an opportunity to provide feedback after each campus visit. Reddy said he expects to name the vice chancellor in the coming week.
